Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

If I could, I'd give this place 4.5 stars. Here's why... Let's start with the good. Like Ellen A. said - their felafels are fantastic. Better than Garbanzo's and several other Greek places I've been. Their Gyros are delicious and the Spanikopita is a must order! The pita bread is soft and a perfect compliment to their meat. They have several plate combo options, so there's no reason you won't be able to order a mix of everything you want to try. They also have several vegetarian options!! Their lunch specials are a fantastic deal, where you get a combo plate and free drink for $6.50, though it seems most all the combos available are chicken primarily (two vegetarian ones, though). No gyro love for the specials.. but, like I said, their gyro is delicious, so I'm willing to spend an extra buck or two. Also, they offer platters and party trays, though you'll need to order a day ahead for those. Now my gripes. They use styrofoam plates and cups. Big uck in my opinion. Not only do the forks stab into the plates, but they're highly environmentally un-friendly. I'm alright with a place using disposal dishware, but plastic and styrofoam are definitely NOT the way to go. I understand that it's generally cheaper.. but seriously, not okay. Their drinks are a bit pricey, and there's a $0.50 charge for refills on a 16oz cup. You could walk over to Albertson's and get a 2L for the price of a soda here. Bottom Line, though, is that this is a great family owned and operated place. It's locally own and operated, and it's not part of some chain (no offense Garbanzo's). This is a good, solid Greek place. If you're not sure about Greek and are willing to try something authentic, come here. Otherwise, start with Garbanzo's and work your way up to this place.

Although I have never chose to dine in I would say this little business does well for its decor. It isn't fancy but it's clean. The service is awesome and I love the food and the selection. You can have an abundant Greek salad or a gyro and walk away happy. The only downside is that they aren't open on Sunday. ..? We ALWAYS crave gyros on Sunday and then can't get it. Oh well... first world problems.

Good but not great. I prefer the Greek place at the mall.

Salad was totally different than what it looked like on the menu... Served on a disposable plate...disappointed! Customer service was good and kebab was yummy but Noooo. I don't pay money for disposable plate and iceberg lettuce....

The Greek Grill is about average when it comes to fast Greek food. Better than the Chapel Hills mall but not as good as going to some of the more specialty places downtown. The food is good as only a gyro can be. My favorite item is the spanikopita- melts in your mouth. All plates come with rice and Greek salad. It's a family owned and operated. The wife is very sweet and makes excellent almond baklava. This is not a place to go out of your way to eat at, but if you're craving Greek food and live in the area- it's tasty enough.

Ambiance: Generic looking strip mall eatery located in the north end of Colorado Springs. Order at counter, and then food is brought to your table. Service: The gentleman at the counter taking orders is from the Old Country, and barely speaks English, very hard to understand. He had difficult explaining to me what came with each combo platter. Otherwise, average service. Food: Common, ordinary Greek menu. I ordered the gyros plate, which came with strips of gyros meat, pita wedges, Greek salad and rice. All decent enough, though I have had much better at the Greek and Mediterranean places in Downtown Colorado Springs (the unofficial "Falafel District". ) I happened to be at the DMV next door, so I decided to give this place a try. This place is outside my neighborhood, and though I don't mind driving distances for good food, I am closer to better Greek food (several downtown joints). If I find myself back at the DMV I guess I could find myself returning here for a quick bite, but there is nothing that will cause me to drive out of my way to come back.

I like the falafels here a lot - better than the ones at Garbanzo Med Grill cuz these have some spice to them. I always get them in the gyro. comes with nice soft pita bread, lots of lettuce and some tomato wedges and feta cheese on top. I haven't yet figured out a dainty way to eat these - the toppings all fall out as u eat, but its really good and tastes fresh. the interior is somewhat small but has quite a few comfy booths. I really like that they have a pile of free magazines laid out by the soda machine, so if u are eating there by yourself u can read. its true some of the employees do not speak good English. I once ordered a soda with it and mistakenly ended up with a meal deal which included greasy french fries - not very authentic! have tried the walnut baklava which had a good flavor.

My wife and I just moved to this area and were hungry. We decided to drive around a little and we were finally lured into the Greek Grill by an advertizing board that advertised a Gyro Lunch Special (Gyro and a Drink for $6.95).. It was around 1:30PM on a Saturday and we walked into this place and it was dead... not even an employee to be found. We waited about 5 minutes (we should have turned around now) and finally noticed a bell on the counter, so we rang it. After about 30 seconds a nice enough apologetic lady arrived. I proceeded to order to the "Gyro Lunch Specials) as I pointed to the advertisement outside. As I was ordering, I noticed that the thing that cooks the Gyro meet was not turning. The nice lady proceeded to take already prepped meat out (from somewhere) and make our sandwiches. We waited patiently for our Gyros, once they were done the lady called us up to the counter so that we could get our food. At that point, I asked for our drink cups and she said that the Special (that was being advertised) is only good Monday through Friday. At this point my blood was boiling. I politely took my Gyro's and politely told the nice lady that her sign out front is misleading. On my way out, I reread the advertisement and nowhere does it say Monday through Friday. I begrudgingly took my Gyro home and began to eat it. This was by far the most HORRIBLE Gyro I have ever had. I was hoping that I could find one reason to like this place, but I can't. I would be shocked if they were in business a year from now. Save your money and go to the mall for a Gyro (yes mall Gyro's are much better than this place). Or better yet, go to Briarmart.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I've eaten here a few times and loved it each time. No, it's not an upscale Greek eatery. The interior is a bit old, but it's very clean and that's all I care about. I went there for great Greek food, not the ambience. I've had the lamb and chicken gyros and found them tasty. The last time I went I had a Greek salad with what tasted like fresh homemade pita. I ate the whole thing. I'm from Chicago that has a lot of Greek places so I'm a little biased, but I found the food delicious. Friendly staff as well.
